Having ice-cream after FHE at the Koffords. Audrey ended up picking up the lid to the ice cream container and just licking the ice-cream straight off it. She is our human garbage disposal. She will eat almost anything!
Tuesday: All the Moms and kids went to a very rustic park in American Fork to have a picnic lunch. This was the first time in a long time that all the sisters were together, with out Stephanie and her kids. It was a cold day and not ideal for sitting on a blanket outside, but the kids didn't care that much. As you can see, Audrey took a squat on any lap that would allow her, other than mine. Any time I sit on the ground, she feels like its her chance to come sit on me This day I wanted to actually eat my food, so I shooshed her toward Aunt Jennie who loves to have nieces and nephews around her. She's "the favorite aunt." (self proclaimed)
Michelle couldn't find the settings on her phone, so Avery 9 yrs, showed her how to find it and change specific settings. We all laughed. The grown moms I should say. Kids know more...
Audrey wasn't so happy that Abby, her favorite cousin, was fully armed with a baby that wasn't her.
The second event of the day was a stop at the new "Sammy's" inside a country club near the park. Since we had already had lunch at the park, we just had dessert. Heidi jumped right into a chocolate shake.
Wednesday: The biggest event other than Chandlers Farewell; The FRONTRUNNER train from Provo to Salt Lake. Chance had mentioned wanting to take it to Salt Lake on the first night we were in town, so it was set!!! We planned it for Wednesday, since that was the day Chance could take the day off work. So Jana and her kids, Me and my kids, and Chance all piled into my van @ the Koffords and drove to Provo to franticly hop on the train. We ended up with with 11 kids and 4 adults. We met up with the Farleys' at the Lehi station, so I had been calling and texting her to let her know what stop we were at and how close we were getting to them. It was exciting to flag them down to join us in the front train car. Phiew, we all made it. The long ride to Salt Lake was fun. At this point we had 16 kids and 5 adults. Michelle had an appointment she couldn't cancel, so she sent Sophie and Gabba with us. I promise I won't explain every pictures, so kind of just figure out what we did.
Audrey, my clint-on, didn't want to be left upstairs with out me. So she sat in the stroller for a while.
Everyone gather, its almost time to get off.
From the station stop in Salt Lake, we took the blue line to Temple Square. We walked to the South Visitor Center and sat on the grass to have our sack lunches.
Next was the Joseph Smith Memorial Building to see the "Joseph Smith Story."
Brigham Young Home, or Beehive House!
I spy... a temple!
On the walk back to the train, Audrey decided to just stop and sit on the sidewalk. And Heidi joined her.
On the way home! On the blue line back to the main North Salt Lake train station that would take us back to Lehi and Provo.
Wednesday night, since Elizabeth couldn't come with us on the frontrunner, we went to her home to have dinner. Audrey figured out where Nora's binkies were stashed in the kitchen. Little stinker kept getting into them.
