Provo Recreation Pool and BBQing at the Koffords' for Pioneer Day 2013

What at great way to start the day off by seeing spiderman walk across the street just before we pull into the Provo Recreation Center Pool. The kids in my car were thrilled. Ha!
The kids jumped right into when we dropped or stuff and said go ahead. This is an awesome alternative to Seven Peaks Water park. I had bought passes for SP this year, but ended up having them refunded cause there were so many other options for swimming and cooling off in the 90+ weather.
In the Lazy River with Ellie, Heidi and Kate.

Naomi and Avery in the Lazy River

Naomi: It was hard to catch her since she was always in motion jumping off rock diving board.

Avery jumping off the rock diving board. She would hold her nose till just before hitting the water, then she'd let go and hit the water with her hands out.

                                                           Heidi and Kate, best buddies.

                                                                     "THE MOMS"
                                                       Wendy, Jennifer, Cheryl and Me!

Naomi on the rock wall. She made it to the top but couldn't hold on very long. Good thing she fell into water.

Heidi and Avery                                    Licoln "Linker Stinker"

My mom ended up coming with us. She was so nervous about putting her suit on cause she didn't want people to laugh at her old body, but we told her to look around and notice that there were all types  at the pool. I am so happy she came and that she did put her suit on cause she had so much fun in the water with the kids, and they had fun with her.

                                                                  Grandma and Cole!

Bar-B-Q and Homemade ice cream at the Koffords

Jana surveying the ice cream to make sure it is ready and tastes right. Gotcha!!!

Audrey didn't like the loud fireworks so much. She ran the other direction to sit with Elizabeth, Abby and Melissa Turner, her new best friend.

The largest Sparklers that I've ever seen... The kids, Chance included, loved trying to draw their names in the air.
                                          Heidi

                                          Chance                                       Ryan, Naomi and Kennedy

Some of the many fireworks going off around the city of Provo that we cold see from the Koffords' front yard where we lit all our fireworks. Or I should say Ryan and Lance Smith lit fireworks.

A unique photo of Naomi loving her Large Sparkler, shot by Lance Smith!

Heidi was hit by falling sparks from the last big fireworks that were set off. She was not happy about the burn she got on her leg, but Melissa Turner was there to hold ice on it and talk to her sweetly, something I'm over doing for Heidi since she tends to over react with everything in her life lately.

Day 3-5 Summer Utah vacation july 15--17th

I had backed my car into Michelle's driveway to pack up for the days adventures, (swimming at the Koffords') and went in to gather up my kids and could NOT find Audrey. I was getting worried till I looked outside and found her sitting in my seat going through my purse and money. Little stinker knew exactly what she was doing.

Notice anything across the street? They are all over town. I love spotting them.
Making sandwiches for lunch before expending energy in the pool. Kennedy, Sophie, Heidi and Audrey.

Sophie hates this picture cause she says she looks like a which, but I had to take and post it cause it was so cute how all the cousins were so excited to see each other.

Twins, from another mother and 2 years apart. Heidi and Kate. (Kate is taller)

Naomi, Avery and Gabba tried to hog the slide, but the boys weren't having it. Pictures below say it all.

                                                                      T-mans face!!!

Too hot to sit in the sun, these twins relaxed in the shade, looking worked.

                                   Day 4!!
We picked up cousins along the way... First Ellie just before we got on the freeway in American Fork. Then Philip as we were getting off the freeway in Orem. It was a cousins party in our van.

Instagram post!

First we met Wendy and her kids at the new Provo Recreation Skate park for Thomas' skate boarding lessons. Cole was out cold sitting with Wendy in the heat so Naomi took advantage of holding him while he was oblivious.

After the skateboard lesson was over, we went to the other side of the rec center to the park. I gave Wendy some money to go grab a few pizzas and salads and Cole was all over the zip lock.

After the Park, Elizabeth had invited us to her house, so we stopped for Sonic Happy Hour drinks, then met her... but saw her along the way at a dairy farm house, so I slammed on the brakes and turned into the driveway to see the baby cows. I was only there a split second, but what a fun place. Whenever I visit Utah, I wish I had a farm; whether its a vegetable, fruit tree, or animal farm. But it would never happen cause my husband is a "store bought" kind of man!

Playing in the water, mud and trampoline at the Bandley home. This is my kind of childhood summer.
