Utah, Sunday dinner in Provo Canyon & Swimming with cousins!

We arrived in Utah on a Saturday night, so we decided to womp together dinner at the Provo Canyon Sunday after church. It was a beautiful day with a nice breeze and always fun to be with family and cousins.
This is Kate and Philip exchanging flowers. They are best buds.
Pip, Aunt Michelle and Kate!
Audrey! I couldn't hold her anymore so I put her on a blanket where she couldn't see me. Didn't last very long. She wasn't too happy with that, as you can tell.

On Monday, we swam at the Koffords'. Even though we have a pool at home, we love to swim and be in the sun. So it was fun to have all the cousins around to swim with us.
Kennedy and Audrey. I think they are sisters! People tell me she looks like Jana's kids. This proves it.
Duncan, Audrey and Kennedy
Heidi posing, of course.

Brayden and Brooklyn Farley. Such a caring and attentive big brother!

Well, this picture proves they could be sisters more than the one above. Kennedy loves her.
Gabriella and Heidi jumping in together.
Heidi jumping in by herself. They ended up twisting as they jumped, landing a little too close to the edge for my liking.

San Clemente Beach July 4th Week!

We were in San Clemente for a few days before and then on 4th of July. Here are some sneak peaks of the week. Naomi LOVED the ocean. Heidi tried it out and liked staying unsandy... And Audrey loved the the sand and sand toys, especially tasting them. Enjoy!!!

Sooooo... we tried to get all the kids together to take a picture of them in the matching cloths Nanny had bought for them to wear on the 4th of july. It started out well, as well as pictures are with 7 children, until Naomi decided to pinch Heidi for sitting so close to her. So this is how it went...

And a side note: I was on the 210 freeway between Santa Anita and Baldwin and looked to my left to se this truck. I couldn't resist taking a picture of it. How patriotic! How perfect not just for July, but ALL year. This picture was taken in april.

Our Adventurous, HOT, hike up the trail behind our house! Just happened to be the hottest day of the week, so we didn't make it far before all the complaining started. So we sat and rested in the shade a few times. Eventually a crying Heidi ended up on my back. Naomi and Layla (cousin) were troopers, but couldn't make it past the 2nd gate. So we headed back down to our street, where we passed an animal puring loudly in the bushes just before we got to safety. It wasn't just a purrrr. It was a mountain lion hum. So we walked as fast as we could till we hit the street, taking off running to our house.

Jillian, the Nanny, Layla, Tabby, Tatum, (cousins) Naomi, Heidi, Audrey and I went to the Los Angeles Zoo. It is always fun to go with friends and now with cousins. The weather was warm, but not too hot.

Probably the most memorable thing was the Python that was being held by a ranger for all to feel. Naomi was so interested, but way more concerned about it being safe, as you can tell by her face. She was not going to take her eyes off the head which was being held by the neck.

Little Audrey doesn't get into many pictures since she is most often in the stroller. But we took her out to see the Giraffe. She wasn't interested, just wanted to be held,
