Arrivals of all the family
Pre-dad! Not emotional yet.
Sophie... You're obsessed!
Audrey's buddy, Duncan. He loves her.
Getting all the kids ready. We were pushed back behind these lines because we "were in every bodies way from trying to get the baggage claim."
Quinn, the residential Photographer. Trying to be stoic.
Not sure if his flight was on this tv, but most all the flights were on time. Another Elders family was getting text updates on the flight and told us when they had landed.
Chloe Christensen Ostler was the other photographer. She may have shot of few better pictures than me, but it was fun to joke with her.
Waiting....
Seesters
Can you see his head? Just past the rectangular pole on the right side of the picture? In the back?
Jana was the first to see him and start screaming. There were five elders from different missions traveling home together.
Just to torture everybody, all the elders stopped at the hallway where no one is allowed to enter to shake hands and say farewell before meeting up with families that had been waiting to swell each up in a whirl wind of hugs and tears.
Austin was the first to enter. As we all started to scream, he put his hand up to egg us on the scream louder. So Austin, rilling up the crowd.
So mature!
Michelle was the first to break through the lines and rush to Austin. Lance was close behind her.
Finally, Dad!
Then sisters!
Grandma Worsley and Audrey
Chandler, who is actually taller than Austin.
Austin picked him up off the ground to show who the big brother is still.
Proud Momma!
Little Cousins; Thomas, Avery, Kennedy and Naomi.
Hunter
Christian and Nora Bandley
Jana, a very excited Aunt.
Can you guess who the hugger is? Cup in hand!?
Grandpa Worsley
Elder Tui came from Las Vegas to be with him.
Then the third Elder, with who they had a try-companionship rounded the corner to surprise Austin.
More hugs
Mathew Farley
Quinn, who hugged for a bit while they talked in each others ears. Then as they pulled away, Austin reached into his jacket to pull out his Coopers Heart that he told Quinn he had kept with him every day of his mission.
I then noticed his Cooper pin on his lapel.
Goo, thanks for the good picture of me...
Lance Smith
Jana and Hunter crying about the pin and Coopers heart. Touched them.
Everyone there...
Grandpa and Grandma Worsley
Gabba and Naomi
Chance and Cameron
Somewhere there is a picture of these three doing these faces when they were little.
Ellie, Naomi and Avery
Stil so excited to see his buddies
Sweaty, jackets off.
After the airport, we all met at the In N Out in American Fork. Austin had to meet with his Stake President to be released as a full time missionary at &, so we visited as long as permitted. He told us stories of how stinky the open sewer is in Ghana compared to the stench we kept getting whiffs of from the underground sewer right where we were sitting. Nice!
