Ryan called me into his office and asked if I had seen "this?" I didn't know what he was asking so I walked in and saw the blog with photos of the Kofford Family and what they had done Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I could barely stand there and look at it. I came to my room and opened my lap top to look at the pictures and read the latest posts for myself. Naomi sat with me and asked questions about each picture. I sat sobbing, nose dripping and all. Thanks Ryan.

I want to share this with all I know and love cause we always need to remember the purpose of this life, and that we need to love each other while we are here on the earth. I hope you enjoy and are touched by the spirit as I have been and continue to be!

Girls Holiday Announcement

For some reason, not matter where I tried to rotate the picture, it always ended up sideways. So forgive the head tilt.

Heidi doesn't look too happy, but it's not because she won't be the baby anymore. She was really sick and was not a very good trooper about sitting for this picture.

Child # 3... 4 weeks and 3 days Pregnant!

So for two weeks I've known by my gut feeling, and the constant hunger and irritability, that I've been pregnant. I've taken about 5 pregnancy tests. Two were negative and two were unsure. So I waited a few days and finally one showed up possitive. So I figured I was barely pregnant. However, my Dr told me to come in immediately when I knew I was pregnant. So I made the soonest appt for an ultra sound, and didn't tell anybody. Not even Ryan. I wanted to make sure everything was o.k. before I announced that I was prego.

Given my history that I had a internal bleeding miscarriage and a cyst on my right overy that had to be removed in June of this year, I was concerned when my overy was bothering me. This is why I didn't want to tell anyone. This ultrasound picture may look like nothing, but if you look closely at the arrow, you can see the sac attached to the dark circle. My gestational cycle looks right on and the "computer" tells us that I am 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant.

Our christmas decorations have been up since the beginning of December. So to try to surprise Ryan and let him figure out on his own that I am pregnant. So I hung a very bright, non coordinating stocking right in the middle of our usual four stockings. I also put a big # 3 on a piece of paper and pinned it to the front. As you can see it was very obvious. However, Ryan didn't notice it for three days. He stood in front of it for almost two hours trying to connect up the t.v. inside to the new t.v. outside, all joining to the cable and dvd player. Still he didn't notice it. On Wednesday the 9th, I came home exhausted from setting up the ward building for our Enrichment night. I laid on the couch talking to other woman involved int he activity when I started explaining the "he hadn't even noticed yet." Ryan heard me say this and he became very curious as to what I was talking about, so much that he wouldn't leave me alone till I told him what he hadn't noticed. He asked if I had gotten a hair cut, or if I had cleaned. It wasn't until I stared at the fireplace that he noticed and sat frozen and dazed. He was shocked, but them replied that so many things made sense now (meaning my moods, migrane and irritability.)

Naomi's Flu Shot

Tell me if I'm wrong, like the doctor did, but Naomi's arm does not look right after three days of getting the flu shot. It was fat, tight, really hot and very red, as you can see. She laid on the couch with an ice pack between her and the couch, not towel to gaurd her skin, to keep her arm cool. She had the H1N1 nasal mist and the flu shot on the same day. Then sure enough, three days later she got sick, lung drama and all. I'm still not sure about how possitive I am about vaccines.

Halloween @ the L.A. Zoo

On Saturday October 24th, We went to the L.A. Zoo with Eliza Burhley for the "BOO" day of trick-0r-treating and running around before the general public arrived. Since we have a family pass we were able to be there @ 9 am and watch pumpkin carving demonstrations, go to a pumpkin patch, watch a scare crow on stilts creep out the little kids, and see all the zoo animals before it was too crowded. I'm so glad we got there early and left by 11 cause the parking lot was packed when we got back to our car.

Eliza and Naomi were troopers for walking all over the zoo. We only had a single stroller and the zoo was a lot of hiking. They were exhausted by the end of the two hours there. Oh, and they had stayed up till 10 pm the night before reading books and giggling in the bed. It was a fun day. Eliza and Naomi get along well with their quick whit and great ideas of the fun things planned next.

Heidi got to sit and relax, but felt she was missing out every time we'd stop to see a caged animal. So she was in and out a lot, but rode in luxury.

We are so happy to have the Burhleys' close, if only for a little while.

Being so furtunate to live near the ocean gives us great chances to visit any time. This picture of Heidi was November 28th. It was a beautiful day. Not too cold, but I wouldn't touch the water. That did not stop Naomi and Easton Bleecker. They were in and out, constantly plumbled by waves as they tried to build mounds of sand not quite castles.

We are so blessed in every way. Life isn't easy, but we try to thank Heavenly Father for what we do have. I feel blessed to live in Ca, to have a new home, to have two healthy children, a husband who works hard, a family I wish wasn't so far away, trials that help us learn, even when we don't want to learn them with loss. Mostly I'm grateful for the example of a Savior. He is the way! Heavenly Father has given us everything we need to survive on this earth. We really just have to seek after it and follow the commands laid out for us.

So I tend to preach my testimony a little much, but this is my blog and I feel we should all share our testimonies when we have the chance.

Time Out For Woman, Salt Lake City

The Worsley girls, Amy Gray and Wendy Talbet had the opportunity to attend Time Out For Woman in Salt Lake City, Ut on November 13th & 14th. It was an amazing two days of being uplifted, laughing, sobbing, identifying, and realizing that as daughters of God, we are amazing. We can do and over come anything if we rely on the Savior. This is something we all know, but do we feel it? Do we really understand what it means to rely on the Savior? The only way to know is if we turn to him in prayer and seek after him in everything we do. It is easier said than done, but it really is what we have been commanded to do. So it really is easy. We just have to do it.

One of all our favorite LDS authors, introduced to us by our funny sister jennifer, is Emily Watts. We laugh and cry at her books, and just find so many things that we relate to as mothers. She helps you realize so many other moms in the world feel as you and are going through the same struggles you may feel no one understands.

So naturally we planned to meet her and take a picture with her cause she is such a funny woman. She is in the middle behind me and next to Jana. She asked us to stand in front so her gut was hidden. We love her no matter what her gut looks like. She is more real.

Holiday "Busy"ness

This has already been a busy Holiday Season, but it's only going to get busier. We have Two birthdays in the month of December; Ryan 33 & Heidi 3. I am in charge of Enrichment Night on the 10th, our home is hosting our annual cookie decorating party for moms and daughters we love on the 11th, we hope to host a white elephant party for our cousins on the 17th, our Ward party is on the 12th; oh and I have Jury duty starting the 7th. Let's hope I don't have to be there the whole week cause that will conflict with a lot of plans for that week. So there will be upcoming post with pictures for all these events. Hope you enjoy them.

Burhley Blessing

This morning was baby Lily Burhley's baby blessing. Her Father, Matt Burhley gave her a very sweat blessing of faith, knowledge and peace. She is a choice spirit and the blessing was perfect for her.

Thanks to the Schultz family for having us in their home for lunch. Thank you Amber for being a strength and support in my life when I need you. You have been a much better friend than I. I love and appreciate you.
