Monday August 12th 2013, Audrey's 3rd Birthday
We kicked off Audrey's birthday at Crescent Bay Cove in Corona Del Mar, Ca. We met cousins Jill, Lola and Jade Brady, hung out for about 3 hrs, then went up PCH to Newport Beach.
Of course we had to make a stop at Sprinkles cupcakes, but decided to stop into Spinkles ice cream, and new store front just next to the original cupcakes store. Of course when given the option between cupcakes or ice cream, she and Naomi and Heidi all wanted ice cream. So we ventured in, after a few pictures, to try the child size ice cream cones.
Ice cream was fun, with free sprinkles and a mini cone.

Nanna and Pappy Rossiter were not going to be in town for Audreys party, so they came by early to bring a gift. Audrey loved her Tinker Bell and wings, and the little barbie tinker bell.
Tuesday August 13th
Let the Party Prep Begin!!! My girls and I ran to Party City the day before the party to find umbrellas for the cupcakes. There was this big poster that I considered buying for the party, but it was too tall for Heidi and for sure wouldn't work for 3 year old girls. So we shot a picture with it instead!
Wednesday August 14th
The food prep began on the 13th, but everything was assembled on wednesday morning. I tried to find clever ideas for food with out going over board. You'll see what I made from the pictures.
Just a few friends...
Some Decor...
Isla Terrill and Heidi coloring and decorating bags. Alexis Arnald enjoying her sucker.
Hawaiian coloring
Azure Ann, the cutest face. Audrey's cousin!
Another cousin, Lola Brady
The only two pictures of me with Audrey, and I'm not even looking at the camera or smiling! Oh well, I was there! Ha!
Instead of a cake, I made "beach" cupcakes. They looked like they were 1/2 ocean 1/2 sand, with either a beach ball or a beach chair and umbrella. It was a lot of work, but I'm happy I did it. (I don't want to explain how I made them. Just look up Hawaiian Luau on Pinterest and you'll see these.)
Audrey has never liked having everyone sing Happy Birthday to her. Last Year she cried the whole time. This year she gave her usual blank stare! Then when we were done singing, she wanted to bolt. It was Isla Terrill who offered to blow out her candles.
Madalyn and Makayla Wright! They played on their own the whole time!
Opening presents! This is the first time Audrey really got what it is to open her own presents.
This is the after party from a bunch of 3 yr old girls! Thank you to Nicole Thompson for cleaning it up before she left.
Sunday the 18th, Nanna and Pappy came by again to bring a gift that Dara had left at their house. Audrey had continuous days of gift opening.
Thank you to all who came and/or brought gifts to celebrate 3 years of this little platinum blondes life.
