These are the mini cupcakes Heidi helped make to take to her preschool class to celebrate her birthday. She wanted colored icing, but with all the colors mixed together, that she kept adding, the color ended up a funny grey color. But she loved it. She chose and placed all the cupcake toothpicks. She loved taking them to share with her friends at school.
When I asked Heidi what she wanted to do for her party, what she wanted her theme to be, she replied, "a pajama party." So that's what we did. All the kids came in pajamas, they decorated pillow cases, we built a fort, did face painting, and let them run around outside. Then we opened gifts and had rainbow sherbet ice cream on colored cones, all picked out by Heidi.
All the guests took home a tooth brush and tooth paste, a eye mask to sleep with at night, and their own pillow case with their own design on them. The party got a little crazy at one point, since the face painter I hired didn't show up, but all in all it worked out and it is over and done with now. YES!
