Heidi Girl September and October 2015!

Hold Your breath... Heidi actually got up off the floor, where she was seated by me, to get up and try a hip hop/acro class. It was a class for Audrey's age, but some of Heidi's friends had tried that class.
But it only lasted this one class. She did not want to go again.

Heidi's crooked smile due to dental work. She has had a lot...

This is momentous!! Heidi does not like dance. She doesn't like gymnastics class, even though she is doing hand stands and cartwheels where ever she is. She doesn't want to do sports. I have to bribe, bargain and lose my temper to get her to practice the piano. So the fact that she hadn't learn to ride a bike till now is not surprising. But I was tired of having bikes that we all couldn't use. So on a Sunday evening we took the girls bikes to our ward building parking lot and taught Heidi to ride a bike. And she loved it. Finally! I told her...

So of course the next day after school she had to show the boys on our street how good she is. In a bright swim suit, sparkly hightop tennis, and a rock'n tan.

Instead of sitting through 3 back to school nights, I went to Heidi's class right after school and asked her teacher, Ms Hernandez if I could help set up and she could tell me everything then that would be said during the evenings meeting with parents. That is the way to go. Personal, and I was able to help her right after school before I had to go pick up Naomi from school. This is Heidi's goals for this school year.

Many school mornings are a rush to get everyone out the door and to school on time. Mondays give Heidi an extra few minutes to get to Mayflower with out a tardy since they always do "Monday Morning Annoucements." Almost every morning we park and I walk Heidi to her class. One perticular Monday I really didn't want to walk her or have to stand there during announcements. But I'm so glad I did cause she received an award for summer reading from Dr K, the principle. I always feel sad for kids that get awards and their parents aren't there to see them or be able to take a picture. So I'm so glad I was there.

This is her friend Sara Brown.    And all the summer reader winners in Dr K's office getting prizes.

GO HEIDI!!!
