Thanksgiving 2012!

Get Ready! Here's our Thanksgiving Vacation!

The drive to Utah was gorgeous!  I took many pictures, but this was the most intriguing!

Pie Baking at the Kofford Home!
Wednesday started off the holiday festivities with baking about 15 pies at Jana and Quinns home.

Jana and I both wore skinning colored jeans and black slip on shoes. Fun!

The Sisters! Sans Elizabeth and Stephanie

Audrey loved Kennedy's dollies and stroller. It kept her partially entertained while I helped bake.

The Turkey Baking and Frying. Lance Smith has taken over the job of the turkey making. He loves to brine, cook and fry the turkeys. One is cooked and the other is fried in a big fryer. That is what he and Ryan are watching closely in the back yard. Lance has it down to an art.
Lance and Wendy's bishop brought his turkey over to be fried up when ours was done.

The Thanksgiving set up: 90% of the credit goes to Wendy, pictured, for the creative decor. The center piece and the treats at each plate, she did them all.

Our 2012 Christmas Photo!

Trying to get a family picture for our Christmas card was not an easy task. I was either telling Audrey to stop touching Heidi's knit balls on her sweater, telling Heidi to sit up and not look at Audrey, and telling Naomi to sit up and not lean against me so she was lost and slumped in the picture. The best was the black and white above. Audrey isn't smiling, but as explained above, it was the best we could do.

May Awesome brother Chance. The best Uncle and friend to all his nieces and nephews. And a great movie buddy.
 Chance, Elizabeth, Michelle and Me.
Chandler, Austin (newly returned Elder,) and Lance Rich
Wendy and I. The fist two to sit and be ready to eat

Ok, so if getting a family photo of my little family wasn't hard enough, getting one of the whole Worsley clan, sans the Farley family, was a huge defeat. Not everyone was looking or there was a big glare from the sun shining over the neighbors house, which we totally bombarded since they were out of town. The idea was that we sit facing away from the sun so we weren't all squinting, like we usually do on my parents porch. But then the non-photographers didn't' think to zoom in the camera to miss the sun. Oh well. I cropped the best of everyone and this is what we got:
Worsleys 2012

Grandma and Grandpa and all the goofy grand kids.

 Ellie, Kennedy and Sophie: Cousins

The Rich Family

We laughed at all our big horse teeth and Wendy had the idea to get an up close picture of us. Can you guess which teeth belong to which sister?

The end of the night finished with Kennedy and Abby dancing  in the living room. All the other little girls joined in as the parents ushered them out the door. It was an exhausting but fun night.

The only major casualty at the kids table! And of course it was Heidi's cup!
