Ward Halloween Party 2011

Naomi was a black widow. Heidi was Repunzel, of course. Audrey was the lady bug Naomi and Heidi both were when they were babies.

Ryan kept teasing Audrey with the goblins on the blow up haunted house. She did not like it.
Like I've said before, Heidi will wait forever to get her face painted.

And for some odd reason, Heidi attached herself to "Red fish, Blue fish," a new couple in our ward.

Halloween Cookie Decorating Party!

Naomi asked if we could decorate cookie with some friends from school. So she made her own save the date invitations, gave them to her friends, then later made another invitation with the date, time and place. She took the initiative to tell her friends, but only three came, which was fine with me. They decorated cookies then ran around and played. Short, sweet, then DONE!

Disneyland with the Rich Family, Oct 19th, 2011

Wow, I don't even want to get into the wait to see Repunzel. Let's just say a few moms have had better moments other than the rush to cut in line. It was a WAIT, but Heidi has waited a few trips to Disney to get to see Repunzel.

She looked cute and the wait was well worth it when Naomi, Heidi and Gabriella walked in and Repunzel and Flin Rider were waiting with open arms.

She gathered them and did "ring around the rosy..."
Posed for a picture...
Then had a group hug.

Disneyland Sept 28th 2011

I love Disneyland, well all the time but especially, at Halloween time. When the decorations change, I'm there!

Tom Sawyers Island. Naomi begged to go over to the island. I always dread it, but we waited for the boat and took time to let the girls run around like we never have. Usually I want to rush from one ride to the next, but this day we just chilled and did what the girls wanted to do.

California Adventure brought a new insight to the stage of life Audrey is entering into; Get the big ugly hairy thing away from me! We started to walk into bear country which is now turning into a play land for the movie "UP." right at the entrance there was the dog from the movie and Audrey started to stiffen up before I even saw the dog standing there. She would not take her eyes off of it, so I started to walk toward it and she flipped. Wanted nothing to do with it.
So all the characters thereafter brought horror to her. Could not get a decent picture...

It was a fun day!!

Disneyland with Layla! October 7, 2011

We met Caroline, Dara, Ron, Barbara and Layla (my inlaws) at Donna Millers house, after I picked up Naomi early from school. Our plan: Head to Disneyland.

All the goooley decor in front of The Miller home.

After many rides, we stopped at the Bibbity Boppity Boutique just inside the castle. Each girls searched and searched for one trinket to buy. I talked them out of a $15 tiny crown or $20 clown hat, and talked them into these hair rubber band extensions for their pony tails. Not the ideal buy, but at least they can wear them outside of Disneyland.
